Here are a few photos from the Sketch for Survival Exhibition at the Oxo Tower, London. It was a great privilege to be involved in this incredible initiative: huge thanks to the organisers at Explorers Against Extinction for their tireless hard work. Looking forward to next year!
Last week I had the great pleasure of attending the Explorers Against Extinction Sketch for Survival awards at the Royal Geographical Society. With drinks in the historical Map Room and a fantastic presentations from explorer Pip Stewart, documentary maker Philip Dalton and the conservation charities Manta Trust and The Gorilla Organisation, this was a really special evening. I didn't win (alas!) but huge congratulations to all that did including the winner of the Wild Spaces category Janina Rossiter, an incredibly talented artist, illustrator, graphic designer and climate change artivist! You can check out more of her beautiful work at www.janinarossiter.com/

An awesome coup for Explorers against Extinction who managed to set up two installations at the COP26 conference in Glasgow featuring work from the Sketch for Survival and Focus for Survival 2021 competitions, including my painting "Shifting Sands". Hopefully this will raise awareness of this fantastic initiative as well as giving our illustrious world leaders something to inspire them to action.....

Cultural events held at Cuckmere have long highlighted the importance of this magnificent seascape. From Celebrate Cuckmere 2011 to ArtWave and Heritage Open Days and Lapwing Music Festival, Cuckmere Haven has been the inspiration and the muse.
South Hill Barn is the venue (from September 11 - 26, Wednesdays to Sundays 11 - 5) to once again Celebrate Cuckmere Haven. An artists' open call brought in more than 200 submissions from paintings and prints to sculpture and textiles, all inspired by this most unique and special place. I am delighted to say that my work is one of the 75 selected to show at the Barn.
The organisers have scheduled three fun early evening events starting with the well known illustrator and writer Neil Gower (cover creator of famous Bill Bryson book "The Road to Little Dribbling")in
